We opened the lot on Route 9 in 2003 with four units and a folding chair. Same chair today. Hours are 9 to 7 Monday through Saturday, Sunday I am here anyway.
Every unit gets walked in the morning. I check the tires, I check the glass, I say the stock number out loud so nobody feels skipped. People tell me that is a lot of care for inventory. People say a lot of things.
Some units do not sell. That is the business. Those ones move to the back row by the fence where the light is better in the afternoon. I keep the covers on in winter. I start them once a week so they stay used to it. A few have been back there a long while now and honestly they have stopped waiting for anybody, which is fine, because I have not.
